House wrapped, windows, doors, roof, oh my!

A lot has happened at the house in the last few days.  We stopped by today and saw that most of the windows have been set and the rest will be finished today. The siders are out there working on the windows, trim and siding today. We ended up buying extra window trim on our own to finish the trim around the windows on the sides and back of the house.  We bought it from Parr lumber in Medford, where Adair buys all the lumber for the houses they build.  Mel at Parr really helped us out by getting our trim delivered the same day we ordered it! Thanks!!  The plumbers were also out there today cutting pipes and drilling holes for pipes to go through.  The heating and air conditioning guys were there as well, they installed the HVAC and the vents and such were there ready to be installed. As we drove away a roofing truck was driving up with the roofers. So, hopefully the shingles will be laid today as well.  The weather is perfect right now, hopefully the house will be sided and roofed before the rains start again. :)

 Roof!

Looking up the stairs at the roof. With techshield.
Kevin and the girls out front. The wrapping is almost done now. Doors installed too.
HVAC in garage. Side door installed too.
 Windows!
 Hall bathtub in place!
Looking into the master bedroom. We have windows!
A view of the back and side of the house from another street.

  1. Your house is coming along nicely, Kasey! The structure seems sturdy and well-built. I love that side door in the garage and the hall bath tub. I’m excited for you and your family. Update us when this is finished. Good luck!

  2. Glad to hear that your house construction is flowing smoothly. I can see that you have lots of windows around your house, which is always good. This will surely open up your space and allow natural light to come in. By the way, do you have any target time to finish the construction?

    1. We have tons of natural light, we love it! We cut ally moved in on April 19th. I only have Internet on my phone right now so I can't post the completed pictures yet. Later this week

  3. The construction phase is the most important because everything has to be secured and in place, so everything's stern and steady. But after that, everything will be an easy pace from the tiling, finishing, and polishing of the whole house. It's been a few months, is your house already finished? Well, I hope so! Good luck!
